ABOUT OWN YOUR MORTALITY
Amina founded Own Your Mortality 2019, a community-centered platform dedicated to death literacy, grief education, and cultural reframing. Own Your Mortality is a community of support created to normalize, educate, and shift the taboo around death, dying, and the journey of generational wealth and grief.
Owning your mortality is important because it allows you to appreciate the present moment, live with greater intentionality, and prioritize what truly matters in life by acknowledging the fact that life is finite, encouraging you to make the most of your time on Earth and avoid putting off important experiences or relationships. It allows you to LIVE your best LIFE and DIE your best DEATH!
